Terms of Service
The terms that govern your use of the StGatherly church communications platform.
Last updated: 11 July 2026
01Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of StGatherly, a church communications platform operated by Appnable Ltd, trading as Kokoodi (“StGatherly”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using StGatherly on behalf of a church or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
02Your account
You must provide accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised use.
Accounts are for use by churches and their authorised team members. You may not share a single login across people in a way that circumvents the limits of your access.
03Acceptable use
You agree not to use StGatherly to:
- Send spam, unsolicited messages, or communications to people who have not consented to hear from your organisation.
- Upload or distribute unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringing content.
- Violate the privacy or rights of others, or misuse personal data.
- Attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the security or integrity of the platform.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or copy the service except as permitted by law.
You are responsible for obtaining the necessary consent from your contacts before sending them communications through StGatherly. Full details are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
04Your content and data
You retain ownership of all content and data you upload to StGatherly, including your congregation’s information and your communications. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the service to you.
You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data you upload, and for having the right to use it. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
05Access and billing
StGatherly is currently available by invitation only. During this period we onboard churches directly, and we do not charge fees or offer self-service subscriptions. Your access is provided on the terms we agree with you when we onboard your church.
We expect to introduce paid subscription plans in the future. When we do, we will make the applicable fees and billing terms available to you before any charge applies, and we will not charge you without your agreement. Until then, references to plans or paid features describe functionality that may become chargeable later.
06Service availability
We work hard to keep StGatherly available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time. Where practical, we will give notice of material changes that significantly affect your use of the service.
07Third-party services
StGatherly integrates with third-party services such as email delivery, messaging channels, payment processing, and AI providers. Your use of those integrations may be subject to the third party’s own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
08Our intellectual property
StGatherly, including its software, design, branding, and content we provide, is owned by Appnable Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding except as needed to use the service normally.
09Suspension and termination
You may stop using StGatherly and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the platform.
On termination, your right to use the service ends. We will make your data available for export for a reasonable period before deleting it, in line with our Privacy Policy.
10Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, and you are responsible for reviewing it before use.
11Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StGatherly and Appnable Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of data, revenue, or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you within the app or by email. Continuing to use StGatherly after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
